Trunz appointed consortium member of H2020/REvivED Water project

We are proud to announce the appointment of Trunz Group as consortium member/industry partner in the REvivED Water project.
REvivED water, a new research and innovation project funded under the EU's Horizon 2020 programme in the field of 'low-energy solutions for drinking water', brings together ten partners from six countries across Europe that will contribute to overcoming the drinking water challenge by establishing electrodialysis (ED) as the new standard for desalination of seawater.
Trunz tasks as industry partner are construction, installation and operation of a pilot plant in Spain, exploring the efficiency of ED/RED in connection with RO for desalination of sea and brackish water.
The consortium has recently published a press release about the launch of a first pilot system using electrodialysis to produce safe drinking water. The system, designated for small quantities of brackish water desalination, is installed in Somaliland, Africa. Press_release_Feb2018
