Official commissioning of solar powered water treatment systems for the Vice-President of Nigeria

Nigeria moves to provide clean drinking water to rural communities through the use of sustainable technologies in order to meet its Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

Trunz Water Systems is proud to announce its association with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and the Federal Government of Nigeria in being one of the first countries in the region to take such a pro-active quantum step towards the attainment of the millennium goals by gearing up to provide potable water on a sustainable basis to all rural communities across the country and thus eradicate water borne diseases like Cholera as well as bring solace to the long suffering rural folks, especially women and children who bear the most brunt as human water carries.

In the presence of Mr Namadi Sambo, the Vice-President of Nigeria, the official commissioning of the first six solar powered water treatment systems for the rural communities took place in January 2011.
