In Ethiopia, a country that is often struck by drought and hunger crisis, the topic of water plays an important role in the future development of the country and its inhabitants.
DWC, a German water consulting company, has seen the immense potential of this market and established three projects in different areas of Ethiopia in order to further spread the idea of local entrepreneurship and sustainable water supply.
The projects in Afto and Jemeya combine the idea of the WATER SHOP CONCEPT and additionally include the selling of power/electricity.
The installation in Semera is within a compund operated by the Missionaries of charity and the drinking water prouced by Trunz Brackish Box 002 powered by hybrid energy is being given to the local community for free.
