With financial support from Swiss Bluetec Bridge (www.swissbluetecbridge.ch) Trunz Water Systems and its local project partner Nexus Technology enable local entrepreneurs and communities to run three small-scale water treatment and distribution businesses in the districts Chitwan and Nawalparasi. The water enterprises supply safe, arsenic-free drinking water to surrounding households, schools, hospitals and local businesses at an affordable price. The innotivative business model has been expanded in Nepal and other countries by Weconnex, a Swiss based company dedicated to social business in developing countries/social impact investments.
