For stationary use powered by solar or external power

Trunz Water Unit 010

The Trunz water desalination unit TWU 010 is complete and ready to deploy. It provides approx. 70 l of potable water per hour from any brackish or seawater source. Powered by solar energy it can run without ongoing fuel and fuel transport costs. The system is complete with feed pump, automatic back flushing filtration system, batteries, solar panels and controls. An efficient Reverse Osmosis system removes dissolved solids (salt, inorganic contamination etc.) as well as virus and bacteria without requiring toxic chemical treatment. The Trunz solar desalination unit is ideal for decentralised water purification in remote communities, clinics, islands, resort application etc. The system is very compact, easy to install and to maintain.

  • possibility to run with photovoltaic system
  • up to 1’500 litres per day
  • ideal for decentralised water desalination
