The solar water treatment system TWU 002

The Trunz solar water treatment unit TWU 002 is complete and ready to deploy. It provides approx. 900 l of potable water per hour from any non saline water source with a max. turbidity of 1 NTU. Powered by solar energy it can run without ongoing fuel and fuel transportation costs. The system is complete with feed pump, automatic back flushing filtration, batteries, solar panels and controls. An Ultrafiltration membrane removes all virus and bacteria without requiring toxic chemical treatment. This process retains the natural minerals in the source water. The Trunz solar water treatment unit is ideal for decentralised water purification in remote communities, clinics, resort application etc. The system is very compact, easy to install and to maintain.
